You look as though you're not really having that much fun, possibly from lack of sleep or boredom.

Hey, didn't I read that those, um, other vloggers were going to be there too?

Sigh... I really wanted to go, but it's a long drive to NYC from SE Conn. after work. I know, I know, no excuse. You live in Conn, too. So, can't wait for the pics/vids to be posted here. Hint, hint... :)

Hey Amanda, i am not sure if you know about this, so i figured it couldnt hurt to mention. I was reading Business 2.0 magazine yesterday, and there was a section about "The 20 Smartest Companies to Start Now", which in a nutshell was about investors and their best "startup" ideas. On the bottom of page 84, there is an excerpt titled "Helping Vlogs to Flog", and details about the new startup that investor Steve Krausz is willing to back. He mentions Rocketboom, and you: "then-host Amanda Congdon also wore T-shirts from startups eager for exposure" (this quote will make more sense after reading the full excerpt.

So, if you didnt know about it, congrats, and if you did, sorry for being redundant.

    Object of Insane Desire
    by Marcy Kahan

Clive Swift and Maggie Steed star in award-winning writer Marcy Kahan’s tale about consumerism. The play, which skips along in verse, brings to life the comedy, pathos, excitement and peculiar sadness involved in buying shiny, expensive objects.

Vikram is a salesman, Celia a garrulous laptop computer in a shop window in London's Tottenham Court Road. They’ve developed a relationship, but now she's the last example of the model in the shop and Vikram, tormented by the vapidity and insincerity of his job, has one day to make the sale.

Who will buy her? An eccentric cast of characters, including a blocked writer and pubescent urbanite, make their bid – but who will win the consumer race for their heart’s desire in this remarkable, quirky play from the pen of a masterful writer for radio.

    Directed by David Hitchinson
