Ummm... not sure how good-slash-interesting-slash-available this book is, but it's written about some "underworld" dude who killed some people outside my hometown. It's probably a pretty local small-town thing, so I don't know how easy it would be to find, but it's called "Bodies in the Backyard" and it's about the Noel Winters killings. I heard good things about it, but keep in mind that the New Brunswick (Canada) audience probably has lower expectations in it's killers, since over here, not many people -- you know... get killed and cut up into little pieces.

    Amanda -

I have just seen Rocketboom for the first time. It is so beautifully made and well thought out that I felt I had to congratulate you.

How nice to stumble across something lovely. There is so much ugliness out there, and so many people respond by digging even deeper into the bottom of the barrel when producing web content themselves.

I shall recommend you to my readers - although I think there are only two or three:)

Best of luck with Rocketboom, and to you.

Dr Katz is amazing. A friend of mine just bought the complete set on dvd.

Also, Read "Devil in The White City." It's about a serial killer during the Chicago Worlds Fair at the turn of the century. Erik Larsen wrote it. One of the greatest books of all time.

Hey! I'm a blogging rookie and randomly checked your site out for some inspiration. I got that PLUS I found another Dr.Katz fan (*high five* I found myself strangely attracted to Ben...even though he was a cartoon. Funny.) And "To Kill A Mockingbird" is my fave. book. Rock on sistah!

I don't know about Dr Katz, but one thing is for sure, i sure love Cats. They toadly crack me up because so many times they'll just jump up and start playing with feathers and what not, thinking that they are preying on wildlife in the jungle! what a joke. And don't get me started about how they react to dogs! I mean give me a break, one minute they're all calm and collect and the next thing you know, they're at it like cats and dogs! I would have to say that it is important to get a scratching post because their nails will hurt your face if you get too close and try and pet.

    Hallo Amanda,
gotta say this, yours is avery different kind of a blog. It sent me for a six, had me rather non-plussed at first. Can't say I really get it even now. But I get the feeling that it's kinda cool.
Loved the sprint rant, I feel sorry for you, but the fact is that it is very funny. Checked Rocketboom out too.
Again the same feelings, strange, but attractive. Loved the Guiness ad. "Good things come to those who wait"-hilarious.
And you look lovely on your web-site.
Wish you all the best, will check out rocketboom regularly, for as long as it is free:-)

Hey Amanda I was surfing the blogs and I saw that you had video on your posts. I'm a Soldier currently serving in Iraq and I have some pretty good footage from being over here and I was wondering how you do it. I tried blogger help but couldn't find anything.... I was wondering if you could help me out... Thank you for your time.
